In 2020 it was found that the SAGE Education Nature Centre at Foothills Camp had a problem with the roof and the SAGE Building Committee Chairperson, Urpo Maattanen arranged for additional work for it to be completed. College Heights Christian School SAGE Workday
August 22, 2021 was a rewarding day for many SAGErs and their friends as they went to the College Heights Christian School to share their skills helping the school get ready for the new school year.
Pastor Don Corkum shared a devotional message and Steven Gabrys, principal, encouraged the helpers to join work groups and the work began.
Carpentry, painting, cleaning, yard work, maintenance skills and more were needed and used to complete the work.

Mamawi Atosketan Native School SAGE Workday
Many SAGERs and friends also participated in the Mamawi Atosketan Native School SAGE Workday on August 29, 2021. The K-12 school is located just north of Ponoka, Alberta and has several buildings and large grounds that needed preparation for the new school year.
Pastor Don Corkum gave a worship talk and Michel Willing, principal, welcomed the workers and gave workgroup jobs for people to carry out. Carpentry, painting, yard work and cleaning skills and more were all needed.
Another very creative job was to have a logger cut down some trees and make a pathway through the wooded area for students and others to use. This turned out very, very well and is a beautiful trail.
After a very tasty lunch and completion of the work SAGErs left the school with beautiful looking grounds and clean buildings, ready for 2021.
